Just a check before I pull the trigger 6c6879-laser-m2:5

Hello,
Just checking If my machine is compatible (I think it is) and anything to watch out for. I cannot upload images though.

The board is a 6c6879-laser-m2:5
Date 2014.09.15
PSU is 50w and has a 6 pin terminal block on one side and a 3 pin terminal on the other.
The bed is 60x40cm and has a digital input panel.
The end stops are optical under the x axis.
Z axis is large can motor with a chain controlled by 2 buttons on panel.

Thanks, Andy

Hi Andy,

Welcome to the forum! I have upgraded your trust level so that you can now upload photos.

This should be compatible, but we need to see your current wiring configuration to the board and LPSU connections to confirm which wiring option to suggest.

Please provide a picture of this as well. This sounds like a version of the high power power supplies covered in our LPSU Connection Guide. You can check your terminals in the article.

For the configuration changes to dial in the physics for your machine size, review our Larger Laser Machine Installation Guide.

You can read all about analog vs digital panel here: PWM Control. If you do not have one, it is recommended to install a milliamp meter to know what mA your tube is running at in relation to your digital control values, to dial in your settings and also prevent overdriving the tube. We have instructions for this, if needed.

These should connect per the K40 Installation Guide. Let us know if they differ from the instructions.

This will not connect to the LaserBoard, so you can continue to use the panel buttons to operate.

Hello, Thanks for the reply.
Here are the pics to confirm things.
I have a milli amp meter already installed. :+1:

Thanks Andy. You have a 6 pin connector, so that part of the installation is covered here: 6 Pin Power Connector

Everything else I covered previously, so you should be set. Let us know if you have any questions about the install.

Hello, Thank you for your reply.
I have tried to make an order, and it says Camera is in stock, but when I come to pay, they’re out of stock?
I’d like the camera with the board order so I dont have to pay extra postage.
Are they, or when are they back in stock?
Andy.

Hi Andy,

We sent an email to you regarding your order. Please check and let us know if we can be of further assistance.
