Help wanted with motorised Z table

Board: Cohesion 3D

Firmware: _Smoothie

I am currently awaiting delivery of a motorised Z table, and have been playing with the settings using a spare stepper motor. What I want to do is use the up and down buttons on the move tab to move the table and also set a microswitch to home the table to the correct focus position (Z=0)
At the moment pressing the Z up button turns the motor clockwise, but if I tell the machine to home the table (using G28.2 Z) it moves counter clockwise until I trigger the microswitch. This means that when I try to home the table it will move down and not up, how can change the config file to make both operations move in the same direction?
Probably something simple, but I’m not seeing it!

The config file setting you’re looking for is under the endstops section.

gamma_homing_direction is set normally to home_to_min; you will want to change this to home_to_max to get it to do what you want.

Just tested it, works perfectly (after I moved the limit switch to the min position instead of the max)
