There are lots of examples of engraving white ceramic tiles on the LightBurn forum. I’m interested in the rotary attachment and am wondering if anyone has tried the Norton method on a coffee cup. Can the wheels be close to the edge to avoid the handle. https://www.amazon.com/Momugs-Plain-Gloss-Ceramic-Coffee/dp/B0728CYXH7
Sorry for the delay in responding, I think your inquiry came in right around hurricane/ recovery time here.
I had meant to grab a coffee mug and show you pics, but the general idea is that the handle is going to hit the extrusion rails on the side of the rotary if you try to do more than a tiny rotation. This is where a chuck rotary comes into play.
The wheel stack on our unit is part of the very concentrated drive system and cannot be repositioned outward.
