Board disconnects when i try to Home the unit

Hi everyone I have a Cohesion3d laser board and running LightBurn i can move the unit around with the software but when i hit home it disconnects i have to reboot the board to reconnect

Does anyone have any ideas

well it was disconnectiong when hit home now that is working after ewloading the sdcard with the stock files again now it disconnects as soon as makes outline and starts a raster

first thing that comes to my mind is an interference problem with your usb cable and the stepper motors or the co2 power supply

What kind of USB cable are you using, and how is the routing.
avoid routing along power or HF cables.

i figured out the issue one end of laser tube was not connected well so it would arc when firing and causing it to disconnect
